About forty men were engaged in the writing of the Bible, during a period of about 1,600 years—that is, from 1500 B.C. to A.D. 100.

All that Tolstoy declared to the world has found expression in sixty languages. Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress talks today in 118 languages. But the Bible, in whole or part, is translated into more than 1,100+ different languages and dialects. The Bible has been translated into more languages and dialects than any other book ever written.
